HELLO KALLO – Construction Updates!
Construction at Kallo is well under way – the foundations being firmly laid in the spirited community you will soon call home.
To cap off an exciting few weeks at Kallo, we thought we’d bring you some stage-by-stage updates. From kerbs being laid to civil works nearing completion, the community is quickly taking shape.
STAGE 4: Stage 4 now only awaits authority consent from Melbourne Water before Council will issue a statement of compliance, allowing us to continue onto the next phase of works.
STAGE 5: All works are now complete for Stage 5, having reached practical completion yesterday. Next we will receive authority consent from AusNet, Yarra Valley Water and Melbourne Water.
STAGE 6: The concrete kerb and channel is now being laid, and we anticipate that civil works will be completed by the end of June 2017.
STAGE 7: The first layer of crushed rock has been placed, with the kerb and channel to begin at the end of June, and civil works to be completed mid-July.
STAGE 9: Approval has been given to commence work on-site, and we expect to have civil works to be completed by November 2017.
STAGE 10: Awaits certification from the Council on the plans of subdivision, which we expect will be processed in a matter of days. As soon as certification comes through, we will be ready to commence work.
STAGE 11: At a similar point to Stage 10, Stage 11 awaits certification from the Council on the plans of sub division. We look forward to receiving this and commencing construction thereafter.
STAGE 12: Engineering plans are with Council pending approval. We look forward to receiving this soon so that works can commence.
That’s the latest news from the land of Kallo. We’ll keep you posted as more exciting construction works get under way!
